Welcome! Thank you very much for taking the time to visit our site to learn more about the practice. Dr. Samuel Lin is Director of Aesthetic Surgery at BIDMC, Chief of Plastic Surgery at BID-Needham Hospital, an Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School, Executive Director of the Harvard Surgical Program in Innovation (SPIN), Residency and Fellowship Program Director, Editor-in-Chief of PRS Journal, and an attending Plastic Surgeon with Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at BIDMC and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston, Massachusetts. He is board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Lin graduated medical school in 1998 and has been practicing plastic surgery in the Boston area since 2007.

Harvard’s Samuel Lin, MD, MBA, named new PRS Editor-in-Chief
The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) has named Samuel J. Lin, MD, MBA, to serve as the next Editor-in-Chief of the journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (PRS). A prolific researcher with more than 300 peer-reviewed publications, Dr. Lin has served on the PRS editorial board since 2014 and has reviewed nearly 1,100 articles for the journal since 2011.
